Never say “fail” but rather say “This is a curve in the road to success.” Take things as a lesson instead of the final outcome.
Avoid complaining if at all possible. Follow up with something actionable to fix the issue or respond with gratitude.
What kind of trash can you get rid of? Watching the world news? TV shows or entire TV networks? Magazines? Listen to encouraging podcasts or read self-improvement books instead!
Live like excitement is right around the corner! Instead of saying “I’m worried about…” say “I’m excited about…” Reverse your brain to stop thinking about worries and concerns and focus on what you are excited about!
“Pain is usually short-lived and is even shorter-lived when you fill it with gratitude.” Pain can be deep but it doesn’t have to stop you from experiencing joy and gratitude.
“It could be worse” is true BUT “it could be more awesome” too!
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my mom’s favorite verses. It says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” How powerful is that verse?! This verse is SO comforting to me!
I put myself in other people’s shoes constantly! This shines a lot of light into what might be going on in their life and helps me gain perspective on where they are coming from.
Empathy and grace are things we learn how to do. Try to attract people in your life who are good empathizers and read as much as you can about the subject!
God gave me the word impact as the theme for my business this year. I make a larger impact when I shine light rather than reflect darkness.
Take some small steps toward positivity and make sure they are actionable. Start them today… life is about to be more awesome!
